This emulator is intended solely for diagnostic purposes and to facilitate the transport of the vehicle to a service center for repairs. Any other use is at the owner’s discretion and responsibility.
Installation Instructions for Steering Lock Emulator:
- Turn off the vehicle’s ignition
- Disconnect the ELV wire from the original steering lock unit.
- Connect the (Electronic Steering Lock) connector to the emulator.If the vehicle’s steering lock is engaged, ensure the lock is removed from the vehicle.
- The Steering Column Lock (SCL) will function only when it receives the appropriate open and close signals.
- Press the start button. A green LED will indicate successful operation. If the red LED blinks, an error is detected, which must be cleared using a diagnostic tool.
- Compatible with Steering Lock Emulator Green Connector, including:
- Ford Mondeo 2014
- Ford S-MAX 2016
- Ford Galaxy 2016
